It has its origins in the year 1909, when it was founded the Musical society “Orpheum”, which have more symphony, opera and classical music concerts. Today, the team is formed by 52 members who are professional musicians. The Director of the State Philharmonic is Dimitar Panov and the conductor is Valery Vachev.
The State Philharmonic Vratsa was founded in 1972. Each year, in the month November took place the International Music Forum. It holds concert at home and abroad.
