The day of St. Dumitri is a spiritual celebration in Vidin. By the decision in 1993 of the municipal councilors on St. Dumitri is free. The proposal for declaration of spiritual celebration of St. Dumitri in Vidin is made by Metropolitan of Vidin, Dometian. On 26th of October, the Cathedral of Vidin “St. Martyr Demetrius” solemnly celebrates his deeds.
