The medieval fortress “Gradistea of Mindya” is located in the north-east on a hill in the northeast of the Mindy village, on the northern slopes of the ridge Kapinovo (Velevski), near Veliko Tarnovo.

Located in Stara Planina. Today, only ruins remained from it. Nearby are the ruins of the tower of castle. The legends say, that once, the two forts were connected through an air bridge. The Castle, it is believed that orginally was a Roman one, but later the Bulgarians used it.
