The Blatsi Dam is located to the north of Veliko Tarnovo, in front of the archaeological site of Nikopolis ad Istrum. Next to it is a paved road. The total surface is of 88.748 acres, spread over about 420 meters in lenght and 200 meters in width. The wall height is of 8 meters. It servs to fishing.

It can be reached by a paved road about 3.5 kilometers southeast of the village center Nikyup or by a detour of about 2 km west of the middle of the road between Polikraiste and Kutsina Village, on the main road between Veliko Tarnovo and Polski Trambesh city.

The place is popular among fishermen.
