Museum of History in General Toshevo was founded in 2006 and is one of the youngest museums in the country. Its exhibits were collected from museum collections in County occurred in the second half of the twentieth century.
Now in its funds are kept over 10 000 exhibits that are part of the cultural heritage of Bulgaria. They are presented in the museum’s permanent exhibitions in the town of General Toshevo and villages Dubovik and Krassen. The first one follows the region’s rich archaeological past and Dobrogea life at the end of nineteenth century and early XX century.
The museum dedicated to General Stefan Toshev is special – Commander of III – the front Dobrogean century Bulgarian Army during World War I and patron of the city. In the courtyard is arranged the Lapidary and special interest shows the Thracian tomb and the lokomobil.
